Tub
A downloadable zine
Tub is a work of horror fiction; reader discretion is advised.
❖
Sculptor, performance artist, and student Zelda Gross is already making a name for herself through her transgressive approach to art. Her next installation, to be performed in December of 1973, is promised to make art history.
❖
As usual, included in your download is both a printable zine and a digital e-zine. However, with this piece in particular I strongly encourage you to print out the zine if at all possible, so that you're reading from a physical object.
A guide to printing and constructing the physical zine booklet is written in the "Download & install instructions" once you click the download button.

THIS IS SO COOL!!! i really liked the way this story was told, the interview and news broadcast and autopsy were such good choices!!! it kind of made me nauseous!!!
thank you! I'm glad it worked so well, feeling nauseous was exactly what I was intending >:3c
This is excelent! I read it twice and both times it disturbed me. I really liked the narrative framing with the excerpts. The idea of perfomance art gone wrong is a wonderful horror concept, and the themes of the blurred lines between artist, art piece and audience is so good. Having the zine printed out it, really added to it. Thanks for making it, I loved it!
I'm glad u like it so much!! thank you for reading!
read thru this the other day and it genuinely gave me chills. The sketch drawing you made of her like crouched in the box is so effective when paired w the story its like kind of nauseating. I love good horror stories abt making art :)
thank u so much :'-) I'm glad my story worked so well
incredible BEAUTIFUL work. the impact it has while only covering a single event, the attention given to specific and horrific injuries grounds it in a way that's. almost mundane? which reaches back around to crushing? this story could go as fantastical as it wanted, but the more direct 1:1 "realistic" approach does way more for itself in my opinion. yet another banger from lucia fur dot itch dot io
aaa thank you so much, this is such a thoughtful comment/review! I love knowing the story was so successful in what I wanted it to do :-)
