J'Aimerais Arrêter De Répondre Aux Arguments Réactionnaires Sur L'Art De L'IA Sur Tumblr Maintenant (or in english: “I’d Like To Stop Responding To Reactionary Arguments About AI Art On Tumblr Now.”) is a collection of prose and collaged images on the subject of "AI art", written and arranged by V.V.K.

Despite being written primarily in french, J’Aimerais Arrêter[…] is intended for V.V.K.'s english speaking audience. English speaking readers are expected to find a way to translate this zine into english themselves. Additionally, french speaking readers may notice that the language used in this zine is somewhat stilted, and may contain grammatical errors. This is also by design.

Each element of this zine was arranged in a purposeful manner, except for the elements that weren't. There are no right or wrong answers to any of the questions posed by this zine, except for when there are. Readers with a rudimentary understanding of art history will engage with this zine to the fullest, but all other readers should be forgiven. Install instructions

How To Print and Construct The Zine:

  1. Select the "J'Aimerais Arrêter Printable Zine.pdf" file. Ensure the selected file is not the "E-Zine" file.
  2. Print the file on 8.5"x11" paper, double sided. This should result in three printed sheets of paper (each sheet containing four zine pages: two on the front, two on the back).
  3. Stack the three sheets of paper and fold them hamburger style to form a booklet. You may want to compare the pages to that of the digital e-zine if you are unsure of the page order.
  4. Bind the booklet. I recommend stapling it or using a saddle stitch.
  5. Depending on your printer settings, you may need to trim excess paper off the sides of the booklet. Ideally, the front cover should have ink going all the way to the edges of the book, so you can use the cover design as a guide while trimming.
  6. All done! Enjoy your copy of "J'Aimerais Arrêter[...]"!
